We are an assembly of vibrant God worshippers of all ages started under the auspices of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) mission with over 600 branches in the United Kingdom and in 178 countries of the world. The church has a mandate of raising men and women alike who enjoy and are full of life as God has it in impacting the city, heralding God's end time revival and fulfilling the global RCCG vision. We are also members of joint Christian fellowship Churches Together in York. We currently meet within the York city on Fridays and Sundays at the Melbourne Centre, located on Escrick Street and close to where the legendary Ouse and Foss Rivers meet with the historic Clifford Tower just a few minutes’ walk away. Our inspiring two hours celebration services on Sundays and Midweek Services on Fridays involve the study of the word, contemporary Christian worship, prayer, teaching and preaching of the word.
